So. You’re moving to Orlando? What if I told you there was a quaint neighborhood, with a walkable main street and all, nestled in a 100-year-old canopy? Said Oak Trees appropriately line small quiet streets – some of which are still made of brick. With one glance around and you can’t help but notice the Adirondack chairs assuming their place in yards, front, and center, ready for “front porch sitting.” It’s these chairs where neighbors chat and these streets where children play. It’s nostalgic, of a time long gone. Idyllic even. And it’s real. Welcome to College Park.
Small Town Downtown is another famous moniker for this Orlando gem, as it’s centrally located just minutes from Downtown Orlando. Not only is it Centrally located to Downtown, but also the popular shopping and dining districts of Winter Park, and I-4 if you felt the need to venture out. But why would you? College Park boasts locally owned (mostly by residents) businesses for all your needs. We even have our own Organic Farmer’s Market every Sunday! Fancy an afternoon at the park (we have several) and then a stroll up to grab ice cream (or a milk shake!) on the main street? Sure. You can do that because it’s College Park. I love my neighborhood, can you tell?
I could paint you pictures with my words all day, but I think you get the gist. You are moving, and Orlando offers a high standard of living in many areas – all with their flavor. Lastly, what kind of list gal would I be without offering you the cons? Or con, rather, as I can only think of one downside to the College Park neighborhood.

You won’t get a lot of house for your money. College Park is an older area (historic, actually) and known for smaller homes. And for that fact is not for every lifestyle.
Regardless of where you choose to settle down, there is a place in Orlando for every family’s vibe. College Park just happens to be our tribe’s jam.
