Have you heard?

Lucky’s Market is now open in east Orlando! If this is news to you, you may be wondering, what is Lucky’s Market? Don’t worry, I wasn’t sure either when I saw the sign first go up in the shopping center at the corner of Alafaya Trail and Colonial Drive. Well, I’m here to share with you the fun things I’ve found at Lucky’s Market during my first two excursions into the grocery store.

Sip and Stroll

The first thing that caught my eye was the “Sip and Stroll” sign. Yes, you heard that right, you can sip your beverage while you’re filling your cart with the necessities. There is a cute little cafe/bar area to the right when you enter the store. They have beer on draft for $2 pints and wine for $3. If alcohol is not you’re thing, fear not, they have an assortment of coffee and tea beverages, as well as drinks for your young ones. To top it off, you can grab a handy drink holder to attach to your cart while you push it around the store. Seriously, I don’t want to shop anywhere else.

The Prepared Food

Lucky’s has a wide variety of prepared food options in the store. The Kitchen is more than your average deli and the salad and olive bars both look amazing! I sampled a piece of the sushi while I was there and it was delicious! On Tuesdays, you can get sushi for just $5 and on Wednesday, you can get a rotisserie chicken for $5 as well. You can also get pizza by the slice. I am definitely looking forward to popping over there for lunch one day to try the salad bar, or grabbing something quick for dinner one night.

Meat and Cheese

Along the same lines as the prepared food, there is a huge meat, seafood, and cheese selection. We’ve had the chicken kabobs and the bacon cheeseburgers and they were both great! I am definitely looking forward to trying more from this department, especially the bacon!

Bulk Goods

You have the opportunity to save more by purchasing some of your items in bulk! There are lots of items available for bulk, such as rice, grains, beans, flour, etc. You can even fill up your bottle of organic maple syrup like we did!

Miscellaneous

So far, I have found their organic produce is very reasonably priced and the selection of produce overall is huge. They also have a great Natural Living section full of awesome, natural products for living healthy lifestyles. The beer and wine selection is large and unique and they do tastings and samplings right there in the store. You can get salt water taffy by the pound, as well as other great treats, like chocolate covered pretzels (I recommend the cinnamon and the salted caramel). There is also a DIY trail mix station, as well as a juice bar right there in the store. Also, Lucky’s Loves Local which means they love to bring in local vendors and companies from right here in central Florida. What an awesome opportunity for our community!

If you haven’t already guessed, I highly recommend checking out Lucky’s Market! You can also follow them on Instagram at @luckysmarketorlando to get more fun information and learn more.

  1. Hi Kendra,

Live your post about Lucky’s. It’s a great place to shop! We love the coconut chips and the cranberry watermelon probiotic juice. On Thursdays, they have double the sales. It’s when last week’s deals and the new deals overlaps. Yay! Do you attend any mom groups or events to speak about your blogs? Hope you have a beautiful day!
