- Cancel deliveries when you will be out of town. Stacks of packages, mail, and newspapers are a clue that you aren’t around.
- Use home automation timers for your lights when you are away so that it appears that you are home. An occupied house is a less desirable target.
- Post cameras outside to capture everything that happens on your property and act as a deterrent for potential vandals.
