10 Reasons Why Costco is a MUST for Moms!

For those of you that are members of Costco, you already know the greatness that it is filled with!

However, if you’re like me and have minimal to no experience with Costco, (I had my first visit a few months ago with a friend who swears by it even more now that she’s a new mom), then Orlando Moms Blog #CostcoMomHour might bring up the question of “Why do I need Costco in my life?”

10-Reasons-Why-Costco-is-a-MUST-for-Moms-with-Tots-or-Teens

To help work through this question, I reached out to our contributor team members, Tracy & Katie, who are also MAJOR Costco lovers to see why a membership is a must!

Tracy, blogger extraordinaire and mom to 3 teenagers, which include a pair of twins, says these are her Top 5 Reasons to Shop at Costco:

  1. High quality, Healthy food – Love their Organic Milled Flax Seed, Organic Quinoa, and Chia Seeds!
  2. Lunchbox snacks – A good variety of individually packaged healthy snacks.
  3. Bakery – Their pastries, pies, and cakes are my “go-to” for events.
  4. Produce – Buying in bulk for juicing and smoothies.  Great selection and quality!
  5. Photo Center – As a Project Life scrapbooker, I love that I can edit photos on my phone then upload to Costco Photo center.  Pick-up is easy. Price is awesome!

Katie, talented photographer and toddler mom, shares her Top 5 Reasons to Shop at Costco:

  1. One word, pizza. Pizza when you enter, pizza when you’re shopping, pizza when you’re leaving. Grab a huge (huge being an understatement) pizza to take home and you don’t even have to worry about the $300 you just spend on food. costco pizza
  2. Samples, seriously. Send the husband off to get the toilet paper and water bottles. You stroll your little one around and eat your heart out with some samples!
  3. The amount of eggs you get in their double/triple/quad?? cartons. No one likes going to Publix or Target and buying like three cartons, that just looks weird. Pick up a huge box of eggs from Costco = problem solved!
  4. Toilet paper, that’s all. Buy toilet paper from Costco and you won’t need to buy more for at least two months, I swear.
  5. On a real note, the organic options. Let’s be honest we live in an organic-obsessed world. Which is a good thing because we are more aware of what is going into our bodies but buying organic can be stressful and expensive. Costco saves the day on that one!

My personal favorite-finds on my first trip were the Kirkland Pesto, it’s soooo tasty, and the dog food – quality and prices can’t be beat! Plus, I didn’t have to break out a snack for my toddler who remained happy and well occupied with samples and all the interesting things to look at the entire trip, which is the opposite of what I can say for when we go to the grocery store! 😉

So, yes,I will be taking advantage of the new membership discount on November 13th, which will also give my friend a nice perk too for referring me! #winning {Membership discounts are described below.}
